I am a technology and community storyteller based in Kamloops, BC. I am currently a fourth year Computing Science student at Thompson Rivers University, and I am interested in how technology tools change the way regular people learn, create, and solve problems. For my multimedia project, I will be exploring the TRU Library Makerspace, a space that gives students free access to 3D printers, laser cutters, recording studios, and more. I want to show how a room full of machines can open doors for students who never thought of themselves as makers.
